the only one I would use it on would the m98B, which btw, Im trying to convience my dad in buying an actual one. there only like 3k

I'm a noob to the entire BattleField series. I've played two games of BF3 at a friend's house and had a pretty fun time, even though I was pretty average.
How big is the learning curve to get truly good at the different aspects of this game?

It's not that bad. Took me two or three weeks. You gotta get used to it taking more than two or three bullets to kill someone.

Not anymore! Had to factory reset that bitch. Wireless still is a touch laggy, but IDGAF. The PS3 is all I'm concerned with.

yeah me too but the speculation is that the they're going to buff the L96 to increase bullet velocity to decrease it's drop.

They need to just give us a .50 cal and make it wherethe only scope it can have is a 20x and its a one shot kill in the torso or head from less than 700m

Shut up. If it were up to you, the game would be one mode, three maps at most.
Snipers are easy to avoid.
Eta: I agree with making chest shots and up one shot kills when within a certain range.

PROTIP: I changed my scout heli loadout on battlelog to laser painter and guided missles (neither of which i had unlocked yet) and it allowed me to use them in the game. Not sure what all this would work on since i have most of everything unlocked for most vehicles anyway
