There should be no AC130 and it should be easier to destroy tanks on foot now more than ever.

I haven't played it yet, but I can't see how an AC-130 raining hellfire down on a M-COM would be all that fun for the attacking side.

The rushing team was on an MCOM before we could even get to it...and it was because of the AC-130. However, one person can take out an AC-130, even if it has flares, if someone in the squad has squad explosives. The only thing is that it respawns soon after.
The AC-130 has no place in Rush, especially since it felt like the defenders had nothing to combat all the other vehicles the attackers get to use.

Can they directly spawn into the AC-130 when attacking then? That would be problematic.

Yeah. It spawns, then anyone who is dead or waiting for it to spawn can jump in. I think there are two seats in it. A main gun and a copilot or secondary gunner that gets to shoot at jets with one gun and the ground with another (like the chopper gunner).
Like I said, you can shoot it down sort of easily, but it comes back quick and you have to do it all over again.
ETA: It flies kind of low, too. Danimal and I got above it in a chopper and took it down twice with ease.
