I'm usually not into game skins, but there are a few I'd like to try and get in CSGO.
Any of those online skin gambling sites legit and which ones are the best? I've never messed around with any of them, and I don't wanna pay to open the tons of cases I have in inventory. Screw that...

Don't do it. Skin gambling is completely rigged. They use a "provably fair" algorithm buts there's been several scandals where site owners were paying streamers to open cases on their site knowing what the results will be.
Opening cases is also usually a good way to lose money. 80% of the skins are going to be blues.
Trade ups are only worth it if you have an intimate knowledge of the marketplace and trade up system.
If there's a skin you like, just bite the bullet and buy it on the marketplace. Word of warning, skins rarely increase in value.

Guy I play with opened up a factory new set of purple gloves. He couldnt buy a kill to save his life, but he opened a pair of 1500$ gloves.

That's amazing for your buddy, but for every one of him there's thousands of people like you and me who get Jack shite. Red skins are like 1% and golds are close to 0.1% or less. So if the odds are right you'd have to open close to 1000 cases to get a gold item. At more than 2.50 per case to open it's a losing game. Your friend should sell him gloves and buy the skins he actually wants.

Just buy the ones you want.

Well, you lose 100% of the skins you don't win. So I would suggest winning them.

1v1 for skins? I like it. That's a gamble I could get behind.
