Best way to find out if a PC game still has a player base?

Recently got the itch to play some Battlefield 1 MP, but seemed to remember the last time I tried having a hard time finding games. I doubt Origin tracks that at all, so hoping their is a site that would have that kind of info. Would like to know before downloading 90gb for nothing.

There's always a few conquest servers going in the evening. I still play every other night. You have to use the server browser to find them.
