Best gaming controller for PC

Want to play GTA V on PC, but hate flying with keyboard plus mouse controls (driving is fine). Best options out there?

Xbox elite controller. Wait for v2 for Bluetooth or get the wireless adapter.

I'm not sure I play enough to justify dropping $150 on it.

I use this one, Logitech F310 (940-000110) Gamepad. Its $25 bucks on newegg. It does pretty well. NOT the best, but usable. You can change the controller settings per game. I use this with steam and non steam games. Not GTA V though.

I just use a wired 360 controller. Works fine for me, and they're cheap.

I switch between a wired 360 controller and a Logitech F310.
Playing GTA on keyboard and mouse has never been a problem for me.
