I wonder if they flip back to supporting it because of the backlash the same way they backtracked from the loot crates.

It wouldn't surprise me that they would dump a lot of resources into this year's battlefield game, but no way they completely abandon battlefront 2.

The Ewok game mode they just did was incredibly fun. I can’t imagine they’d dump the game right after that.

How many maps have been added since the game has launched? 1 or maybe 2?
I think that's what bugs me about the no season pass thing. The updates are free yeah but they come piecemeal at a glacial pace.

I liked the themed DLC of Battlefront 2015. I never had problems getting into games regardless of if I was playing the base game or any DLC pack on PS4.

I was gonna buy the first Battlefront in 2015 but shied away after bad reviews. Was skeptical of the second game and didn’t buy it either. I liked Battlefield 1 and I’ll get the new WWII one, but in general, frick EA

EA royally fricked themselves with the loot crate system and it drove down sales on BFII big time. I even remember reading Disney was approaching other developers to take over the series. So maybe something is about to happen where EA gets the rights taken away. I mean they are already coming out with the new Battlefield this fall and they can take all of there failures of BFII and correct them and make $$$ on the new Battlefield.

judging by their plans for Anthem, i doubt this is the case.
