Honestly having bfv sandwiched between two other huge releases seems like poor planning

Yeah they fricked themselves with that, what were they thinking?

I'll say it again, people were ready for a modern shooter and aren't as excited for another period game

I'm in the same boat as you politically Parmen, as I honestly don't care as long as it's a fun game(I've learned that I am bothered much more when social/political commentary is shoved into a movie I look forward to seeing, reagrdless of the sides.

Having said that, I have noticed just recently that it is possible to negatively affect a video game experience by putting too much focus into this shite when it's really not needed. Prime example being Wolfenstein Colossus. It became so evident at times it was laughable.

I think BF V might just get a pass in the long run by fans because their platform is pretty much entirely multiplayer. In the sense that the devs aren't really given an open mic to let their political or social butthurt bleed over into their work, where singleplayer is that stage.

To finish this off, since these incidents have definitely hit the gaming community, I am kind of glad to see that things are going just as I figured they would: a bad quarterly. Those suckers with tighten a sphincter to a quickness in business and make things right

I wouldn't think so, but I'm not sure. If they did, I'm sure there's community servers that offer it.

I hadn't played it in over a year so the menu was completely different from what I remembered. Might just have to find it.

This board predicts or acts like every latest CoD is a bust. But sales continue to lead all other games.

Guess what was number 1 in sales in 2017?
2016?
2015?

All CoD

It's just funny how people continue to act like the game is hurting.

With that said, I don't like the games either.

Because it's more about the decline in sales with CoD than total sales.

2015: 15.06 million
2016: 8.37 million

and then the move back to standard gameplay with WW2 proved to be a smart one

2017: 12.95 million

It's even more comical that people are predicting a bust with the new CoD having a BR mode. People will for sure at least want to try it.
