They released all the DLC for BF4 and Hardline for free leading up to the release of BF1.

Or, ya know, another SJW game with lackluster sales numbers and a dwindling player base.
Battlefield 1 had alot of hype following the poorly received Call of Duty announcement at the time cause it was something new but something new doesnt always translate to a game that ages well. Battlefield V has nowhere near that kind of hype.
Compare battlefield 1's player base with battlefield 4's and you can see how one formula works and one doesnt.
I'm really bitching cause they refuse to make BadCo3, and if you arent on board there then we'd just never agree anyway

bfbc2 was up against COD in its prime (mw2, bo1, cod4) so I suspect it didn't sell well.
damn fun game though. sticking a tracer on a heli and then sending a rpg its way was great fun.

BC2 was fun, but this is EA, if it didn't make money, isn't surprising we haven't seen a sequel just yet. I get the the want for BC3, but I personally would love to see a true sequel to 3/4.

Hey man you're excited for the new battlefield game. I get it. Been there. It's just hard for me to throw money to that company anymore. Hope you have fun on it

No, I get it. I mean, honestly, the SJW complaints about this game really blow my mind, but it is what it is. And I totally get being over EA's BS.
But I'm a sucker for BF, so I'm on board, even if it isn't the game I was hoping for. No season pass is a really nice draw for sure. I hate buying a base game knowing that in a month or so, I won't have what everyone else is playing.

I bought the year pass for $99 when Madden came out, Madden/FIFA 19, BF5, Anthem. Well worth.

DICE isn't making the BR. May be a good thing they gave a different studio the reigns to the BR.

Just seems odd not to launch with it or even have it ready by Christmas. Wouldn’t you agree?
Also I’ve read that it’s focusing quite a bit on vehicles... which imo from playing H1Z1, isn’t a good thing.
