Ill enjoy it. Done fapped 20 times after this thread had started. You may want to start a way too early official thread again.

Rocksteady has stated how closely and carefully the transition occured. They wanted to move on to different games but had a lot of sweat equity in Arkham.

WB Montreal sounds like they know how important and acclaed the series has been.

thats good to hear but montreal still has to create, fill and detail the environments and bring alot creatively to the table. They're unproven. Whatever rocksteady makes, ill buy

OML, how do you feel about this one?

No rocksteady has me very skeptical

Same. I think it will be good, but it's going to be very, very difficult to match or one-up City. I felt like they blew their wad on that game.

Yeah, though if rocksteady were developing the game described in the OP I'd have randy marshed already.

Hamill's performance in city is untouchable.

Honestly, one of the finest voice performances ever. You can't say he just doesn't kill it in this scene:

Do they not make viable Superman games because there is no way to accurately represent his abilities without making him OP in a game setting?

I was looking forward to the continuation of the Hush and Azreal storylines. A little upset that they left it open, and choose to do a prequel

I liked the aspect in AC that there is no escape, you can do whatever the frick you want, but you're not gettin past this military team and these walls (except black mask) and then batman tells oracle that hush has left AC, like it's not a big deal and is not difficult at all.

Noooooooooooooo

quote:

Veteran voice actor Kevin Conroy, the man responsible for providing the Batman's gravelly tones in all manner of media from the classic 90s animated series to the two Arkham games, will not be returning for Batman: Arkham Origins.
That's according to the latest issue of NAG Magazine (via Arkhamverse), which reports that Warner Bros. Games Montreal has decided to enlist an unnamed voice actor to play the game's younger version of the caped crusader.
Alongside providing Batman's voice in multiple TV shows, Conroy has done a fair amount of video game work: in addition to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, he's also given the Dark Knight a voice in the likes of DC Universe Online and the recently released Injustice: Gods Among Us.
It's worth noting that this hasn't been confirmed by Conroy or Warner Bros. Games Montreal, the studio picking up the development torch from Rocksteady for the third entry in the Arkham series. Until we hear anything from one of them, it's possible that this is just a rumour, though it does make sense that the studio would go for someone younger to reflect the inexperience of Origins' Batman.

Like the article said, if they are going with a younger Batman, you can't have the same guy voicing him.

Why would you do that? You people need to quit freaking out over everything. From what I've read, the game looks interesting and seems to be in good hands.

I was a little bent out of shape when they didn't go with Ironside to voice Sam Fisher in the new Splinter Cell, but it looks to be a reboot, so it makes sense.

Robin didn't seem to have any trouble getting in and out either

I just did that as a huge Kevin Conroy fan. Chill. The game will still be the tits.
