It is, since its still the same gameplay, but its not on the same level as Asylum and City.

That's fair. I thought it was sloppy, though. The camera was aggravating as shite and it did very little to contribute to the overall story. Felt like an Easter Egg to me.

I'm referring to Mad Hatter.

I think the reason I liked Deadshot is just because I love the predator encounters.

ETA: Carson, gamefly is probably the perfect way to experience this. I wouldn't want to pay 60 bucks for it, but gamefly would be ideal.

I'm in the firefly sequence. Maybe it will change but I enjoy this game a lot and find myself doing a lot of the side missions. Completed the anarchy story earlier too.

I beat this game in 3 days. It's nowhere near the game City was.

Did you even do side missions?

Beat the game, I enjoyed it start to finish. I would say this game is ahead of asylum for me but not sure about city.

I'm still pecking away at the main mission since the wife wants to watch. Once that's done I'll be able to do side missions at my leisure.

I beat it yesterday so i started trying to do all the collectables. It's not that bad so far but I'm not near done either.

eta: everyone i look people are hating on this game, what the hell is up with that? If you don't love it i understand but if you liked AC then you should like this game.

Yeah, I've done most of the side missions. Going around collecting all the data packets, doing missions as I come across them.

Are you doing the "crimes in progress" that seem to pop up randomly? At first I would do them, but I never saw any kind of progress indicator?

I didn't care for AC, and I'm having a hard time staying motivated for this one. I'll enter a room that I know I'll have to predator, and I'll just sigh. Formula is getting a little stale.

I do them at least just to get a lot of xp. I also got a steam achievement for doing 20 of them so that's something

Well that's the key. You didn't like AC and that opinion seems to line up with this one for you. Fans of AC are shitting on this game though and I don't get it. If rocksteady had put out this game I don't think people would care nearly as much.

For me, there was such an improvement from Asylum to AC. The part that makes these games for me was the story. I think people began to shite on this game when it was first announced that rocksteady wasn't helming it. I'm not very far into the game, but as long as it's a good story, I can live with and enjoy a rehash of AC gameplay.

I just think it's weird that it's an Origin game but Batman has all of the gadgets he had in the previous 2, some that are kind of upgraded

I think it has a very good story FWIW. My biggest issue with it is that it is not as polished. It has a few bugs that I didn't experience in AC but then again I just played AC this year so there may have been more at launch for AC.

Yeah. I agree with you here, but I just chose to overlook it. I guess they could have come up with all new gadgets.

That's good to hear. Has there been any confirmation that rocksteady was working on a Batman game for next gen?

One of those things probably not meant to be analyzed too much. If they don't have all those weapons or not as many then people will freak saying this game doesn't even have what the previous did.

Rocksteady is working on something and many believe it is another batman game. If they are I hope it is 2 years away because I don't want to annualize this franchise.

lol, I think I'd probably play an annual arkham game, even if it's just the same gameplay, new story.
