I opened up every chest possible. Didn't find a single damn piece, although I did get stacks on stacks of money.

Yes, that will soon be explained.

Best part of the game so far: Battle of the Chesapeake. It's up there with Priority: Tuchanka in terms of most awesome single missions.

I was wondering why that guy was a prick to little connor.
SPOILER
Why was connor's dad killing red coats if he's a templar?

The templars are not necessarily loyalists. You will find out how pragmatic they are.

Stout should put a spoiler disclaimer in the thread title. Just in case.

So the assassains are for the colonists but the templars are just there to?... will be answered later?
Posted on 11/5/12 at 3:21 pm to Drew Orleans
Exactly. The Templars will do what they need to gain power and control.
Posted on 11/5/12 at 3:23 pm to GoCrazyAuburn
now that i know what is going on, kinda... at what point to you realize connor's dad is a temp?
Posted on 11/5/12 at 3:23 pm to sicboy
Its pretty obvious. I didn't want to out him on the help board.

The assassins and the templars exist outside of established nations/groups. The Templars make use of existing hierarchies (Vatican/British Empire) to further their stated goals but they definitely do not support them. Assassins are the same way, they represent their ideals which happens to coincide with the Colonists.

Any of you guys know how I can join the AC IRL?
So I assume the temps want power and the assassains just want freedom, good over corrupt, etc.?

The game tries to be ambiguous as you can see there are vices and virtues tied to each group. Ultimately the game comes to down to something entirely unrelated.

Anybody on Sequence 12 notice the silly Bane reference? "Only then will I allow you to die."
Spoiler
I also like how Haytham monologues for about 2 minutes after you puncture his jugular.

Yeah I kind of scoffed when Lee blurted that one out, he didn't even manage to make good on that little promise either. Hickey did the same thing as Haytham, talk about a death prattle.

Speaking of joining the assassins, how pissed were the guys in the past who had to cut off their own fingers to fit the blades. Here comes Connor who gets a training montage and voila gets to be an assassin with all fingers attached (unless I missed something).
