Arkham Knight Replay

When Arkham Knight first released, I was one of those poor souls who played the PC version. I actually didn't encounter the bugs (at least, I don't think I did) that a lot of people did, and I thought it was pretty fun. I did find the batmobile stuff a bit tedious after a while.
Fast forward to the last couple of weeks. I've been doing a replay of the game on my PS4, and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I did the first time. It's pretty awesome playing in the Batman 89 costume. I just wished I had learned my lesson from the first time and done more of the sidequests while playing the story. I have nearly all of the riddles/trophies still to collect and am halfway through finishing all of the street bombs, towers, and roadblocks. It does get a bit tedious to do all of these back to back to back instead of spreading them out.
All of this to say, has anyone seen new rumors about what Rocksteady is up to with a new project? The last thing I saw was a photo of their motion-capture actors in their mocap suits all posing together. I still haven't seen any legit rumors about what their next game will be.

I really hated everything to do with driving in that game. I couldn't bring myself to do anymore than what was required.
In regards to future games, I don't know what Rocksteady is working on. I know that WB Games Montreal is working on a DC game but haven't said much since November.

I was way late on playing this game and just completed it a couple of months ago on PS4. I had heard all of the negativity about the batmobile stuff so I pretty much dumped every upgrade point I had to max it out as soon as possible. This way each tank encounter would be over quickly. I think it helped but there was still way too much of it.
Overall I liked the game but the side quest stuff just wasn't interesting enough for me to see any of it to completion. I'd do 2, maybe 3 of a particular side quest and then had my fill of it. I ended up watching the 100% ending on Youtube since the game doesn't really end until you do all of that stuff. It was definitely my least favorite of the 3 Rocksteady Batman games and I think I'm done with that series for a long while.
No idea what Rocksteady is up to now but (on a somewhat related note) I'm looking forward to Insomniac's Spider-Man game. It certainly looks Arkham inspired.

This is my main gripe (the first playthrough and 2nd). How many times do I have to tackle the Man-bat and Firefly in basically the same sequence over and over again. Between those and the "chasing the APC lieutenant" missions, it gets very redundant and tedious.
I think the story is very very good. Yes, it's painfully obvious who the Arkham Knight is. They pretty much hit you over the head with the clues. But otherwise, I thought it was a well crafted story.

Deathstroke boss battle being a tank experience made me laugh

Every time I re-install the game on PC, I'm reminded that I'm at a point in the game where you use the Batmobile to go across roofs. I then immediately uninstall again. And I'm someone who thinks Arkham City is one of the best games of this decade.

To their credit, however, Christopher Nolan had Batman use the tumbler to transverse rooftops in Batman Begins.

ive never seen a game go so overboard with a single mechanic. ruined it. sucks because there were some cool moments. unfortunately, all were ruined because they all involved you getting to the batmobile somehow

Last year Rocksteady filed a copyright for the name Arkham Insurgency but there's been no news since then. I did everything in Arkham Knight, just like I did for the other Arkham games, and I agree the driving parts were over done. I didn't have a problem with the Batmobile being included but they forced it too much.

I don't mind it being on rooftops. I just hate having to use the Batmobile. It's the weakest thing ever put into this series. Series in general is great, but for some reason they can't surpass Arkham City.

Because Arkham City is damn near a perfect fricking game in every regard.
When Batman puts Joker on Gordon's car and walks off was fricking amazing.
Also, Mark Hamill.
BATSY!
