There were two guys talking about the game on the way back to the car at renfest. Praising it.
I don’t want to try and convince anyone to buy it because they may hate it and I’ll feel bad. But this is one of those early PUBG/Warzone type of experience from a sense of just a fun time and you were glad you were there for it.
However…you own the game KK…give it 10 or less games and you will know. I can always help get your feet wet. Then you just report back to pevy.
Think I have helped 4 people get their feet wet actually and this is how it goes:
“I don’t know what I’m doing”
“How do I do (insert question here).” x 20
“Ohhhhhhhhh, okay I seeee now”
(Insert tense extraction situation)
“Okay, this game is going to be a problem”
Also the game just hit a new peak on steam…two weeks after release. Pretty wild. One of if not the highest rated shooter of all time.

I use proximity chat. I say something along the lines of “need help” or “we friends or fighting”
Earlier me and 5 solos teamed up and took down a big spider robot. Was awesome.
Just now dude was fighting 3 drones. I offered help; dude responded by shooting me. I rolled and smoked his arse. Told him “that’s how you wanted it to be, that’s how you got it. I was just trying to help”

most time i prox chat.
sometimes i feel em out.
some times i shoot first.

Broke down yesterday and installed on the X...I am a beyond miserable BF homer, but this one wore off quickly I'm sad to say (hopeful that once CoD drops, the trolls will find their way home again)
Played for about four hours yesterday, essentially a mix of fill squad and solo..I play in a game room with my son, so hes yelling at his friends and theres a few fans in here blowing around, so i usually keep my mic muted on games...Mute/unmute a few times to let a squad know im at least there and paying attention..
Didnt take long before i realized that free loadout was just enoug to get me into the game to grab some shite and get out, if i got caught up by those fying scanners, i wouldnt really be losing much..I honestly only had trouble when i would squad fill with someone who wanted to start shite..they would just fire on whatever moved which made me a target..
Overall, kind of fun, I do hate the process of grinding out gear, but to get out and explore its a really great looking world..Definitely going to be on more just to keep feeling out keys/hatches, etc.
