It’s been fun tonight, but holy hell the body armor makes people a bullet sponge like in Blackout.

So there's no solo play with this, right? Didn't see an option and I'm always paired with 2 others. I guess that's the point of this game, the right team.
Seems fun so far but there's so much to learn. Inventory management, each legend's skill and how/when to use it, how to build teams... seems daunting but it feels and plays great.

I’m loving the ping system. Even randoms without mics can be helpful with that feature.

This + no solo mode = deal breaker for me. Might pick it up later once the kinks are ironed out

Only played one round, seems like it could be pretty fun. The guns might feel a bit weak, though.

Yea it seems team shooting is very important in this game so far. If you go 1v1 with someone, prepare to reload a few times. The higher level body armors are no joke.

you can mark items in blackout. i don't know what it is on PC but on console its Left D Button + Down on right stick. it highlights through walls if you're close enough to it.

I know. I have 250 hours in blackout.
Apex Legends has a much better ping system. You can ping enemies locations, locations to loot, specific items. And it all works easier and is more obvious to locate.

Finch, how long did the download take on PS4? And is it just your PS4 username in game or do you have to go somewhere else to create one?

i was at work when i downloaded it. went to playstationstore.com, added to cart, confirmed purchase, and somewhere along the way, it gave me the option to download to my ps4. it was ready for me when i got home.

You can even ping when you need a certain item.

played last night. This game is 10x more fun than Blackout(to me). I had a blast. played with friends for a while.. then got my first Win playing with two randoms.. no voice communication.. but we pinged everything.. level three armors... helmets, enemies.. we may as well have been talking. the system is incredible
