Anyone play EVE?

I decided to give the 14 day trial a whirl. This make be the most complicated and confusing game ever invented, WTF??

If you like spreadsheets, you will like PvP in this game.
Tried it and would love it if it wasn't for the lag. Takes forever to set up a match and people lag on purpose as tactic.

I would lag coming out of jumps to new systems, that shite gets you killed so damn fast.
I just cant commit the time necessary to play any mmorpg, if I could, it would be EVE.

I did that 14 day trial a few years ago. I love the fact there was challenge involved, but you're right, if you have no one to work with and either tell you what to do/learn with you, its pretty daunting.

On a related note Dust 514 looks pretty interesting. It's going to be an MMOFPS somehow linked to the EVE universe but on PS3.

I played eve for a month or so but not my cup of tea. I used to play earth and beyond, which was what i was expecting in EVE.
If they can pull off Dust 514 and even allow you to link an EVE character to a Dust character, i will definitely buy both.
