I'm not at my PC so I can't see how accurate that is, I know it's 1500+ for sure last I checked.

and it's not that you have to be capable of building elaborate palaces at end game. you just have to be able to throw up a fort to cover yourself in a pinch, or build ramps up to someone else's base to kill them.
being good at killing >>>>> everything else. I'm more of a utility builder. I'd much rather build a ramp into someone's base and kill them then build my own base

i guess im thinking more solo right now. you cant get too carried away building in solo because someone can just clap you and you cant get revived. cant tell you howm any times I built some crazy shite, killed the guy, then had someone blow me away right after. i build some pretty extravagant shite in squads since i can get picked up if I get brained by an inadvertent sniper shot. solos im more of a "build what you need when you need it, then keep moving"
1v1 build-offs are a lot of fun. It's like a fast paced chest match and you have to decide when to strike. great feeling outsmarting someone with building.
