Grats!! A tip I wish someone had told me when I started the gold rose quest - you have to water the black rose dead center with the golden can for it to tag the black rose with the chance for gold. You can't water three at a time by watering the center and letting the sides get the splash - only the center one will get tagged for a chance at gold, the others won't.

Just completed my first ever legit scorpion island (the real one , not the self made bamboo island). It took me by complete surprise when I walked off the dock and saw 3 of them roaming.
That would make a decent horror movie. I run near them and make them chase. Exhilarating, edge of your seat stuff, haha.
I’m throwing all the earnings and more into turnip market it the morning.

First time I got rushed by a tarantula (basically a scorpion in the non-scorpion months) I was legit stunned. Tarantulas don't really bother me in real life but considering how chill the game is otherwise I had no mental guard up when that thing attacked me. 
They (tarantulas and scorpions) run fast as shite too. If you've cleared out a bamboo island and you startle one, you can hold a track meet around the entire island. And it doesn't stop or despawn either. Little eight legged Terminators.

I also bought 2,400 turnips at 103. I'm kinda worried because I had the large spike pattern last week.
