After I sell my stalks I refuse to look at their prices the rest of the week because I know I'll be pissed

i could only buy 300k worth at 93 a pop because i just paid off my loan and got the basement loan now.. but if this hits i could pay it all off i think and start finally saving bells up

If it helps, there's no real benefit to paying the basement off except you don't have to pay to customize the outside of your house anymore. I split paying it off and building up savings 50/50 for a while to be sure I had money for high end Nooks items and turnips until the payoff amount was so low it didn't make sense not to get rid of it entirely.

I'll check my prices this afternoon. Yesterday was my peak so I'm assuming they'll be lower than you're interested in.

This is my first week tracking daily prices (stalks.io and turnipprophet) and only my 2nd week in the turnip game.

I’m curious , has anyone else experienced them being unable to provide predictions?

I bought at 91. Opened at 78. Slowly and steadily drifted downward to 62 yesterday. Rebounding now back to 78.

I’ve logged every AM and PM price. They had somewhat similar projections. But now today neither site can offer me a prediction. Have any of you experienced this? Does this mean anything?

I’ll keep tracking. I’ll let you know if anything worthwhile comes of it.

Did you buy at 91 on your own island or on someone else's? A lot of the weirdness of the predictor comes from your island's own prices and whether or not this is the first week you yourself bought on your own island.

Also, have you time traveled at all? Apparently that goofs up the algorithm.

This week I bought on my island for 91 and have been tracking every AM and PM price. They’ve been projecting equal parts bottom out prices and large spike. But now they both can’t provide me a projection.

Luckily I took advantage of Freauxzens offer yesterday and cashed in. I’m just tracking them now to follow the pattern and hopefully get more accurate predictions for next week and beyond.

ahhhhhhhhh yes that explains it. Thanks.

After selling last night, I time traveled with my windfall new riches to move multiple houses and buildings. I’ve been strict to never do that before to progress the game especially in regards to museum and shops and game progress.

But I didn’t have 5 days to wait for all the buildings to be moved into place. I’m on vacation so I need to put in time and hours now while I have the chance. I won’t do it anymore, ha. It was strictly to get the buildings moved in final place. #busted

No judgement here! I thought about it myself this week because I started rearranging houses, but I bought turnips and didn't want them to rot and by the time I sold them I'd already moved most of what I wanted to move the hard way anyway so I didn't bother.

The bad news is you won't have a 'previous week' to feed into the data next week, but the good news is just keying the prices in should actually work for you.

Hahaha it was just for customization purposes.

For instance , I only truly shifted my house. I didn’t fully relocate it. It’s partly sitting atop its original plot. That would have taken me 2 full days to move it to completely different spot and then back down to precisely where I wanted it. Meanwhile other buildings also waiting to be moved.

I moved them all in about 10 minutes time and reset back to today. I promise it won’t happen again

That's kind of what happened to me too, but with villager homes. I had to shift several of the houses by a few squares to make room for more houses on the east side of my island, but that involved moving one house from east to west to free up room, and then repositioning each house on the east side down and to the right, and at some point screw it I moved a house from the middle of the island to the east coast and moved the campground to the middle of the island. It's gotten a little out of hand but I'm almost done and I'm happy with it. I just wish it hadn't taken the better part of a week to get this far.
