Pay attention kids, innersloth is putting on an absolute clinic on how to destroy a game.
The play store rating has dropped almost a fricking star since the previous update. Now the new update adds some stupid account shite and even more bugs.
Bragged about a team of mostly women developers. Well I believe that for sure.

I measure how popular a game is based on how many well-known streamers are playing it, and it appears that Among Us is definitely dying.
Game was already on the market for a few years if memory serves, but just popped out of nowhere for some temporary fame. It reminded me more of a party game or a board game with a betrayer mechanic than a game that would have any kind of longevity.

Tbf those people can watch paint dry and pull in 20-30k. Double or triple that depending on who it is.

In their defense they were working on Among Us 2. And once the game blew up they scrapped that and started working on the updates for Among Us. The game is fun and is a great concept. The playerbase is what turned me off. But I joined two Among Us LFG discords and the playerbase there is significantly than public. Because now it’s not as anonymous and you don’t have the creepy people treating it like tinder.
You also don’t run into the 3x speed max vision 10s kill cooldown lobbies where someone hits the button as the game starts just to not say anything.
