I preordered the game and some rudder pedals. ...But, can’t get my hands on the HOTAS, PS4 version is sold out everywhere east of Texas. Looks like I must wait until next weekend.

Pretty fun so far. The missions where you just have to blow up an assload of ground targets in a given time frame suck.

Got the ps4 preorder version. Playing through 5 first since it has been over a decade playing any of these games and know that going from 7 to 5 would suck.

These are rough. A-10 makes them easier until the air support comes in then its just lots of dodging. It's just not as fun as other jets.

Yea, they're not fun at all. Just dodging missiles constantly. Your sorry arse compadres dont do shite. They dont draw fire, they dont shoot, AI doesnt try to avoid them. I wish you could shoot them like starfox

I hope they do this as well. Hell, the option to let you play the campaign co-op would be amazing. Having a wingman who actually shoots bogies down would be great.

It really is great. So frustrating at the same time. Already played through the campaign once and most of the missions again to kill all the aces and get some skins.
Tempted to try and S rank everything on hard but that may be a bit much.

Yall played any pvp yet?
I won my first 3 matches and made a good bit of coin. You can skirt the edge of the furball full afterburner with special missles and get luckier than the rest of the guys who are holding down the brake for 5 minutes

I have. It is definitely the best way to earn money for new jets/parts.
I do well overall but it's a roll of the dice between games. I can score double what the entire other team does on my own sometimes and then the next game get whipped by the same people and only score 10k points.
Been using the railgun on the last plane in PVP. It's pretty fantastic, lots of one shot kills from across the map. It's pretty funny to get em before they can see you and start being evasive.

Playing this on PSVR is totally bad arse. I really hope they expand and make some more missions available in VR.

I finished it on "Easy" and now I'm going to roll through normal. It's a superb game
