Worst mission so far, finding the damn lost taxis. Soooo annoying.
Haha it's not terrible. But I might be biased because one of those missions has my favorite easter egg in the game

Looks absolutely amazing, even after turning off ray tracing after experiencing it a bit.
And to swing back to this, depending on your hardware, I think reflections are worth the hit. The world is just built so well for it.

I have no clue if I’m way behind on story or not. Just did the parade one with Takemura, the snipers and met the sister.
I’m like lvl 48.

Depends on how much you’ve done side mission wise. Both my runs ended up being ~80 hours for reference.
I’d recommend not doing all the side mission stuff too early because some of it takes a few days in game to trigger.

im level 25 right now and spent most points in annihilation and quick hacks.
kinda strange combo but works. most time i can sit back and clear out an entire area without raising alarm from using suicide and burn and some others. if i get close in shotgun takes care of business.

Alright, this thread has convinced to go redownload this evening and start another run. I think I was about 25-30 hours in back at release, but excited to pick it up again.

I did a weapons crafting/netrunner build focused on handguns that I was able to build way way up, like way over 1,000 DPS for some of them, just from the associated boosts you can get from upgrading crafted weapons and picking the right handgun bonuses.
Yeah once you have legendary operating system and legendary quickhacks for things like suicide and system reset you can pretty much run through the rest of the game untouched if you want.

That's the point of no return.
I will say that unless you sleep regularly (xp boost), you have to do the vast majority of side content to hit 50. It's not something you do mid-game.

I prefer a combo of System Reset and Short Circuit with Burn as a backup, but same idea.

Yup. Part of why I suggest people bounce around between main mission, side missions, gigs, NCPD, etc.

Yes. The game will give you a warning before you walk into the building that you’re on rails from that point on, including shops, upgrades, etc.
With that said, the game creates a save state at that point, and it’s where it will reset you to once you finish the game.
Eta: as a point of clarification, you meet the sister, and then you have a meeting with the sister. The latter is the point of no return. But again, the game gives you a pop up warning. No need to stress over it.

Whole lotta good info in this thread already, but anyone have a link to a decent in-depth breakdown of classes/builds?
Started getting my feet wet again last night and forgot how specialized the skill and tech trees are in this game. Alternatively, I guess I can just eff around for ~20 levels or so until I figure out a nice playstyle and then specialize from there?

Honestly, most of the build guides are pre 1.5, and therefore useless. On Normal, you have to try not to be OP. Just decide on the style of combat you like: quick hacks, guns, melee. Then decide on weapon (if applicable). Just pick what you find fun.

I wouldn’t say you’re far off, but you still have several missions to go. Just keep playing.

I loved it from day 1. I just finished my 4th full play of the game. First with patch 1.5.
The game is still way too easy late game. They did rebalance things a little bit. I don't think the gear I crafted was as good as last time I played.
I did not like the change they made to getting quests. You used to get a quest anytime you passed the location. Now you only get a few and only get new quests when you complete the first batch.
Hacking and Breach are still over powered. I tend to max those out then switch to handguns, then end game I switch to the iconic smart assault weapon. Way too overpowered.
I don't care about the weak arse cops, but they still haven't changed them at all. They still swarm out of nowhere. If you get 4 stars turrets magically appear. Dumb.
The city is too big or they needed another year to place more gigs around the whole city because there are sections of the city that are borderline empty. I still enjoy walking around and trying to see how high up I can get. In most cases disappointed they didn't put even crappy loot way up.
I love the game but understand the hate for the company. Especially the console folks.
They definitely cleaned up most of the bugs and I didn't spot nearly as much random chaos in the traffic. No flying cars blowing up flying all over the place. No quest bugs.
But... just insane that it will be another year before any DLC drops. By that point I'm not sure I will be interested. I've put about 700 hours into the game so I'm probably done. I did save one ending for a later play through but I doubt I do another full 100% map clear again.

Found one flaw with the game.
I have a 49" monitor, but I also kept my other monitors for reference sites, email, etc up when things are in full screen mode on my big monitor.
If I do Windowed Fullscreen the game plays, but my mouse keeps sliding over to the other monitors.
I selected full screen and it just didn't work at all.
It was the first time playing it since I got the new monitor.
Haven't played with the graphics settings yet to see if there's adjustments I need to make to get it to work or if just doesn't support it.

I use windowed fullscreen as well as I do stuff on my second monitor regularly and hate minimizing when I alt+tab over. Never had an issue with the mouse going to the other monitor on cyberpunk.
I did have an issue like this on Windows 11 where it put up an invisible layer over my game that when you clicked, acted like you were c licking outside of the game, thus letting you move to other screens. You on windows 11?
