they were discussing it...they were just being 1-sided about it

so don't go to happys. simple solution

I surely won't, but that's irrelevant.

If a douche bag I went to high school with became my next door neighbor I wouldn't want to talk to him. Doesn't mean I can't be disappointed that my former (cool) neighbor moved out.

Never been to those NOLA locations, thought for sure they'd fail. Glad they are generating tax revenue, though.

As did I. I've been a few times. I went about a year ago, before heading out to dinner on a Friday night at 4 to check out the on table taps. Never seen that. Slam packed. Nothing really going on in the area either. Went on a Sunday to watch an LSU baseball game at 1:00 and it was slammed again.

I've been to Happy's a couple of times too before Saints or Hornets games and it's always busy. They usually have a bar set up outside for big events since they have so many people waiting to get in.

They definitely didn't fail I was wrong.

ETA: I've never eaten at the NOLA location, but I believe it's the same menu as all the rest, and if it isn't, it's close.

Many tv screens throughout the inside, so you can easily enjoy the game from basically any seat in the house. They have a big screen set up on the patio outside.. It's a decent place to watch an out town LSU game when you're in or if you live in NOLA.

I picture their clientele to be MMA fan boys. No idea if that if right. Not my scene regardless.

Not real sure either. I've never been to Happy's in NOLA any other time but before a Saints/Hornets game. I haven't been to the one downtown after 6:00 in a long time, but it used to be service industry and 20 somethings when they first opened.
The Coursey location seems to be a pretty mix clientele.

In New Orleans, not at all. Downtown BR, mixed.
