You guys kill me.Leave the damn beer alone. More grain for your colon I guess? Top that with a lime so it will go down easier. Go to the bakery if you want grain, go to the produce dept if you want fruit. Go to a real bar for beer.

Silly silly post.

My favorite wheat bear is Konig Ludwig Weiss. It's a Bavarian brewery owned and operated by a lineage of Bavarian royalty. Really good stuff but hard to find. They sell it at the Whole Foods out here

They make great beers.... I'm pretty sure Calando's on Seigan @ Perkins should have that beer

They have a great beer selection at Martin Wine Cellar and I've seen all the ones we're discussing there at Martin on Perkins.. I'm gonna have to write down every one now, and make a purchase.. Want to mention one more.. Banana Nut Bread beer.. I know it sounds ridiculous but i'm a wheat beer fan and this baby goes down smooth and sweet..

Did you expose Manicornchaser as your alter earlier and then edit the statement out?

It's pretty obvious, isn't it?

Paulaner Hef is my favorite, but during the winter time, I've grown fond of the Spaten Hefe-Dunkel...

That was a good choice. Marcellos's (3911 Perkins Road) also has a great selection of beers.

Bit of trivia, St. Bernardus was originally the commercial wing of the St. Sixtus monastery who make Westvleteren beer. Widely considered the best beer in the world. You can only buy Westvleteren beer at the gates of the monastery. They do not distribute their beer commercially anymore. I had a Westvleteren this summer....a most excellent beer. Ok.....thats the end of beer geek talk.

I am a proud beer geek. I just can't understand why so many people drink Bud Light and the other tasteless stuff.

ETA: enjoying a La Binchoise Blonde ale now in a very geeky way

I've moved on to a Tripel Karmeliet. On a serious Belgium beer (or Belgium style, i.e. Unibroue) roll!

I love those high gravity beers! But Honey, I only had 3 beers! Maudite and La Fin du Monde are in my current rotation.
