My 2 year old daughter decided to dunk my trusty Maverick ET 733 in her water table earlier today so now in search of a replacement.

Looking for something similar to what i had (newer model maybe?) Also wouldn’t be opposed to going fully wireless using my phone or whatever. Would like to keep price under $100.

Meater+ is right at $100. It works very well

Thermoworks Smoke has proven very reliable for me.

I agree and use mine a lot. My only gripe is the probe is super thick. Good for bigger pieces of meat only.

Looking into meater. I like the idea of no wires. Is the ambient temp inside the smoker accurate?
