Since the post was in a thread about restaurants, I have to assume nobody was referring to the wholesale price the restaurant is getting. Until those who jacked up their wing prices to customers go back and lower them, it is inaccurate to say wings are lower priced than ever since none of us are actually seeing that.

I can’t speak for every restaurant. I raised my price on days we did specials and that still only covered cost, they will be going back down now.

But these saving can also be seen at stores, meat markets, etc. Customers that got accustomed to a higher price and continue to pay it will keep those prices high at certain establishments. My comment was blanket. It’s like everyone on this board bitching about Canes then going out and buying a tailgate pack. Until ppl actually stop buying it the price won’t go down.
