Was the best I've had? No. But when you're only choices in BR are VooDoo, Podnuhs, Sonnys, and BRQ, you'll take Dickeys.
VooDoo is trash
Podnuhs is good but the only location(Sherwood) is disgusting.
Sonnys is way out of the way.
BRQ ain't exactly your typical BBQ environment.

I guess if you are really hard pressed for BBQ it could work, but if you are in a decent BBQ area it's not good. Prayers sent

You said it was "really good" in your original post. That lost you all credibility when it comes to BBQ. Don't take it so hard. You just don't know what the hell you are talking about when it comes to BBQ

Dickeys legitimately does suck if you're comparing it to real BBQ. It may be better than equally shitty Shane's Rib Shack.
That said, it's not horribly disgusting as far as quick service food goes, and I wouldn't be grossed out by having to eat it when on the road or something.

Somebody told me the owner's of the LC Dickey's were gong to open one in Pearland. I almost fell over laughing and I asked if they had ever even tried Killen's BBQ. They hadn't heard of it.
Also want to comment that Dickey's claims "Fresh Smoked Daily" but I pass by it multiple times a day and never see or smell any smoke.

They need to close the one in Laffy. It was worse than horrible.
