$7 a pound. Who do we call about price gouging?

Rouses on Carrollton Ave. boils and sells them and offers a bit of a discount for 10 or more lbs.
They are selling live by the sack for $1.88 a lb. so I would think they are probably close to $3 a lb. boiled, but haven't really looked at the prices when in there.

How much a pound were they last night? I pass there about 4 times a week since I live in the area and travel Bienville when heading to Rouses and Winn-Dixie.

I'm picking up a sack from them today at $1.90 a lb. cash sale. They charge about $.30 more per lb. if using a card.

I just cleaned up after boiling a 40 lb. sack earlier today.
We didn't eat them all, but did pick all the tail meat to use for other dishes.
I'll make a nice pot of "After The Boil Soup" on Monday. That stuff is so good and one of the things I love to do with leftover stuff from the boil.

Clesis had them for a little under $5 a pound. $1 for garlic, $0.25 for potato, and $2 for half a link of sausage.

Damn, that's high. Schaefer's on Lake Ave. in Bucktown has them for $3 a lb. boiled. Not sure what the garlic, potatoes, corn and sausage went for.
I picked up a 40 lb. sack of them Saturday at noon for $1.90 a lb.
