A whole shite ton of people got into bourbon in the past 8 years. It’s a supply issue. 8 years ago I could walk into any number of stores and buy it off the shelf for $46.

well these are aged so the quickest you would see a supply increase will be 6-8 years.

I remember the first time realizing there was a supply issue. Coworker asked where he could find Blantons around 2014/2015 and I said Albertson's (because I always saw it there). Then he tells me no luck and that such and such store in town has a waiting list for one.
Blew my mind at the time.

I recall seeing it on the shelf at Martin’s Uptown in 2013, I only remember the year because it was the year I moved to New Orleans.

i mean i havent read what you have but isnt that putting the cart before the horse? dont you need the expansion before you can increase the supply to start aging?
