Yes, they said it was the first private pick of the DO rye. Apparently this was the tenth barrel he's gotten from them so they threw him something special. I really liked the "cherry cola" bourbon pick. However, I haven't been as impressed by peerless ryes, perhaps because of the combination of youth and price. This one is clearly on a different level though. It was aged over 7 years (3 in the second barrel).

nah, only thing I brought was K.Luke but, 5am packing will make you forget your shite.

edit, that Nulu bottle is not in La that I know of. If it is, grab it.
