I’m a huge fan of Willett’s bourbon mashbill, but the Cognac finish compliments it so well. I’m going to have to blind my 9 yr SiB with the cask because honestly I don’t know which I prefer.

Took my two nights and $160, but I killed a 2/3 full bottle of ORVW in NYC.

Funny thing is, this was $14 a shot. Their Blanton’s is $24 a shot.

He gave me the empty bottle

That's definitely a solid price. There's too much fraud going on these days to give away empty bottles. I'm certainly not suggesting you're looking to scam anyone of course, but I don't think it's a wise practice by the establishment.

I will leave it empty on my bar. It’s a souvenir from the trip. May even decoupage (spl?) some photos from the trip on to it.

Baw throw that bottle in the trash. Hoarding empty bourbon bottles is not a good look.

2nd is a boulevardier. This is one of my favorite summer drinks, but this weather qualifies.
