Is it heavily influenced by the finish?
I tried it a while back and felt it was a noticeable flavor but not overpowering. It really was a good pour, and I regret not buying a bottle.

Here's the description:
It's definitely not as pronounced as the starlight cigar, but you can pick up some tobacco and cinnamon. It's more complex than most ryes. There's a little malt, some herbs, and ample spice. The relative youthfulness comes through as well, but it's hard to complain. I'm looking forward to revisiting,as it seems like one with a lot going on.

It is aged in new American Oak barrels that were cold-smoked with aged cigar tobacco leaves from Kentucky. It incorporates a four-year-old Indiana rye that’s finished in level #1 Char barrels, similar to the process used with their Char #1 Rye Straight Rye Whiskey.

Good evening gentlemen. Manhattan to start with a good Maisano's pick as the base.

That's a good friend. I like the new labels as well. It gives a little bit more differentiation from the 10.

They're doing things the right way. They didn't rush the product. The barrel proof is more in my wheelhouse in terms of the flavor profile, but I can see the casual appeal of the regular version. It's an easy sipper and on the sweet side.
Last one for the evening
Update: Pretty significant difference from the neck pour. Char and smoke dominate the front end, but it kinda mellows out in the middle before spice ramps up for the lengthy finish. This is an interesting pour for sure and in the right way
