Anyone ever tried this? A friend of mine dropped a bottle off for me and it’s not a bad pour.

Can't get the pic to work, but did a fun blind flight of Irish whiskey for happy hour with Redbreast 12 cask strength, RB Smb cask strength, RB Kentucky oak, and blue spot.

Results:

1. Blue spot
2. RB 12 cask
3. RB Smb cask
4. Kentucky oak

2 and 3 were splitting hairs. The small batch is sweeter. The Kentucky oak fell a little flat on the palate, perhaps in part to the proof drop. I've been recommending RB cask strength to anyone who will listen for the last year so blue spot has really impressed me.
