Zappas where are you buying the 16? It’s tough to find in BR.

They still have some toasted barrel KLuke rye. That's a great bottle. I ended up getting their Clyde may's rye and old scout rye picks. The clyde may's rye was excellent. I also picked up Remus repeal vi. If it's anywhere close to v in quality, it'll be well worth it.

I'm really looking forward to trying one of their cask strength picks. I think they've only done four barrels so far. That's a well run operation. They didn't rush their product and it shows.

Remus repeal vi.

It doesn’t have the. age of the V and the price went up about $40. Speaking of price I haven’t bought much this year but today I saw some 1910 it was $64.99. Also got an email from Seelbachs about some Four Gate barrel pick 7yr old that was $220. I mean WTF? Seelbachs also, has a 21 year Foursquare from Rolling Fork for $250 I really want it but damn that should be a $149 bottle. It has become stupid.

I agree SM73

Don’t think 1910 is that high here but I’d rather Sagamore double Oak at $55 here

I have an unopened Remus V I need to crack.

The remus repeal vi was 104, which is about what I paid last year for the V. I definitely have noticed the price creep in general though.

I didn't do a good job documenting pours, but had some enjoyable ones. Blue spot, RB 21, and Lincoln road picks of 4R Barrel strength and Willett 6 yr. The 4R was the only two ounce pour. The others were half pours.

I paid $89.99 for Remus V the new VI on the state website is 110.99 most of the VI is 8 year juice. A majority of the V was 13 year old juice. I just can’t bring myself to pull, the trigger

Yes, it's younger, but still in the sweet spot. 8 year makes up 54%, 10 year 44%, and it has a splash of 14 year. The 8 and 10s each have a high and low rye blend. They earned my trust with last year's release. I'll update once I've had a few pours.
