Didn't really like the first pour I had out of this bottle, but it seems to have opened up nicely and is now pretty enjoyable. Not really worth the price though in my opinion.

Sorry never saw it -wasted.
I like the Sen. better. Prideful gold is good solid MGP juice but Senator Martins pick is another level. I have both but the senator is my favorite

Good afternoon gentlemen.

Through two pours I'd describe as bold and complex. Allspice and cinnamon are prominent throughout, but there's some nice oak, cherry, and walnut to balance things out. The mouthfeel is oily and the finish is long so you can really take your time and enjoy. If you're not used to drinking barrel proofs neat, a few drops of water will do the trick. Looking forward to seeing how this opens up.

Sup baws. Trying to decide on a bottle that I want to crack on my wedding day in December. Have a 17 GTS, ORVW, 13/15/18 THH, Lot B, 16 WLW, etc etc. but can’t pick one to save to crack then. What’s your all time favorite pour?

I would look hard at the GTS, but you don’t won’t to be hammered for the ceremony

That's a good problem to have. 16 WLW and 17 Stagg would be my top choices. If you're sharing with more casual bourbon drinkers, ORVW or lot B.

Speaking of GTS, took a little pour of this to compare to the purple top before temporarily retiring to the cabinet. This one is a cherry bomb.

3pd is an easy sipper. These regional games haven't been short.
