Dread River Distilling in Birmingham.
Anyone familiar with them? Just found them online and looks interesting. A distillery allegedly distilling their own craft spirits (bourbon included) with what looks like a nice bar/restaurant. I’m going to check it out while out here, but I’m curious if anyone knows if the whiskey is any good. Also curious if it’s sourced or really their own mash

I live in bham and have been a few times. They have good cocktails but the whiskey isn’t much to write home about. Cool venue though. You looking for a spot with good bourbon?

Just opened that Starlight VDM cask finish, and that is white grape juice in a bottle. What a unique, fantastic experience! Damn it’s good. I’ve been hearing about how good Starlight is, and this is my first experience. I’m gonna have to get the bourbon on my way back home. They had their standard bourbon and one finished in port.
