Epic, you saying the Idle Hands tastes like SWSB? I’ve been wanting to buy it and am standing in front of it right now Hahha

Yes, same mashbill, similar age (Idle Hands is 5 years, SWSB is something like 4-8 year blend), similar proof. I actually felt like Idle Hands had a bit deeper profile, whereas SWSB airs to the light side, IMO. It’s a solid buy for ~$40.

Very Cool! I bought it . Also would be very cool to get my hands on a bottle of Stagg Jr. That one seems to elude me !

It’s not an easy one to find, I got mine through trades. If you want I could get you a sample or 2. I have batch 14 and 15.

I was worried about it (based on mixed reviews), but this has evolved from pretty good to very good. It could be the maisano's factor or maybe the wheated bourbon is just in my wheelhouse, but either way, I'd grab another bottle if I could.

I remember the first batch of stagg JR was straight up awful. Like give it to a friend and watch there reaction bad. I might even still have some in the cabinet I’ll have to see. Didn’t even look at it again till 4-5 batch’s later. Now it’s one of those hard to get types, times change.
Edit, nope looks like I must have finished it off at some point. I was curious if it had opened up by now
