This is one of the best sub 50 bourbons out there. Always a bit surprising to see so many on the shelves.

I haven’t had one of those in over a decade and I don’t remember much about it. I’ve heard people say it’s one you either love or hate.

Yeah, I like rowans creek and pure Kentucky too. If you aren't a fan of those, it's probably best to pass on Noah's. I think it's a good bit better though.

Think i have a bottle tucked in the back. Have not had it in ages. Will open to see what’s up.

One of my favorites. I don't buy it very often because there are so many good bourbons under $30.

On a related note, I saw Whistlepig Rye for about $109 today at Total Wine and wondered when or if I could ever justify that purchase. Did look enticing though...

That's my biggest issue with Whistlepig. It's solid, but hard to justify the price. I'd pick up a Stellum Rye and Noah's mill instead.

Wait a few days and buy that blue run 14 from seelbachs. It aint $100, but that'll be some solid damage control.

Thanks I guess

Evening gents
FirstPD and not bad. I know it’s sourced and no longer 15 year. I think the nose is terrific, mouth is pleasant but does not match the nose. More leather and spice. Finish is fairly long, oaky.

It’s ok

I hammered that bottle gone in 3 weeks. Really good.

Love that Noah’s mentioned earlier as well.

Went over to my grandparent’s house today and my grandma gave me this bottle. It was my grandpa’s favorite bourbon (he passed away 2 years ago). So this is a special one, putting it in the back of the cabinet for special occasions after this pour. This was also his whiskey glass.
