Yeah I might have. I randomly popped in my store one night and he had a bottle. I had no clue it was there, one of the workers showed me the bottle and I told them I wasn't leaving without it. They didn't have it out or anything, it was in the back.

Lol no I'm not. QBin would not take me there when I asked them a month ago. It was a firm no too. I felt rejected.

why does that surprise anyone? i got like 5 of them. they werent hard to find and im sure someone had 1 or 2 left over in the back, etc

Yeah I paid retail for it and everything and it wasn't at some shady back room type deal either like QBins. I just go to my store a couple times a week and see if anything new came in. It was just a lucky day for me.

Are you serious Clark?
I grabbed a few in the FALL myself. But it is surprising to me that there was still a store in BR that had one just sitting in the back more than 6 months after it was released. Not saying it didn't happen just saying that it is surprising to me considering the way we have this town clocked when it comes to limited edition bottles.

i dont think this stuff is as important to liquor store owners/employees as it is to some of us... i'd imagine it's pretty easy for a single bottle to get looked over or misplaced.

He told me he just got it in. Not sure why they just got one in but that's what they told me and I tend to believe them. Was a crazy awesome coincidence for me really.

I had a similar situation a couple of months ago on a bottle of Handy. He said he just got it in but it was actually a 2012 release not a 2014 release.

what's that term for bourbon that comes from unknown barrels or something like that? one of ya'll explained it to me awhile ago. i remember johnny drum being an example. thanks fellas
