Can't stand how Bin Q has been keeping anything and everything in the back, and then they make you prove your a "cool dude" before they give it to you

Totally agree! I went in one day and started talking about Buffalo Trace Distillery, Elmer T Lee, tornado bourbon and he asked me to walk to his office and showed Me the actual good stuff.

I have the opportunity to buy Forged Oak or Lost Prophet but wanted to ask the fellas their opinion. I'm leaning towards Lost prophet.

Today has been a good day that has been completed with GITM and Bourbon County.

IMHO I think Midwinter's Night Dram is the best juice I've had. Thanks DBP for the heads up.

VW rye is my favorite...I wish I wouldn't have drank all of mine last year. It has been impossible to find this last go around.

LSUTCC, my vote would be Forged Oak. I think lost prophet was overpriced and not all that spectacular. There just wasn't much happening in my opinion. Barterhouse and Rhetoric still battle for the top orphan for me. But Forged Oak is tasty for its price point (when compared to the others, since it's still pricey for a regular drinker).
