That bar cabinet is doing work, son.
Well-stocked for Mardi Gras and a few Cat 5 hairycanes.
I have a bar closet that has been in long-need of an upgrade (blue formica, ugh), but the wife and her kitchen seem to have gotten all the attention in recent years. And just when I thought I was going to upgrade my little corner of heaven, she chimes in with a master bath renovation request to the tune of 10-15K.
Oh joy.

Yamazaki is good stuff, whether neat or in a blood & sand, even if that's heresy.
I'm more of a bourbon guy, but that's one scotch I've enjoyed. Stranahan's out of Denver is also a nice jumping off point for bourbon guys looking to get into scotch.

If you've never had Buffalo Trace Bourbon, go with that next.

Yeah man I was able to put over 70 bottles in there with room for more if I want to clutter up the bar area.

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked.
My absolute favorite "go to everyday" bourbon. It's what I keep in my crystal decanter.

Once I do finish this bottle in the next few weeks is there a recommendation on what to try next?
Blantons
Eagle Rare
Maker's 46
Willet single barrel

The 18 year is the one.
Delicate geared to Japanese palates

I asked about the 12 year cause it's not tough to come by. Is the 18 year one the highly sought after bottle that was voted best whiskey in the world this year?

I'm so thirsty....diets sucks

A shot or two of bourbon a night won't hurt a diet baw. Isn't like it's a 450 calorie stout

Me and diets don't play well....
