I've had the 1792 from champagnes barrel select and it was very good... Esp for $24

I've got barrel #2 (1792) from Calandro's and think it's very good.

That's because OF's should be made with Rye.

I was actually impressed with it. I got to taste all 3 of their (Marcellos) options and they did a good job with the one they picked. I didn't pay for this one, but it's a good deal at $25.

And I agree, I know the rye is what is supposed to be used. I just see other people prefer others. Just saying I like the way it's originally supposed to be made.

I have only made them with rye's and I enjoy them. I like to put them on ice like an old fashioned though.

Haven't tried it yet but have heard pretty good reviews. Hopefully worth the price.
