they defeat the purpose of pooling the nose with the small glass. the regular glasses are great because even with a small pour you really can get a lot out of it.

the new glasses are just expensive stemless wine glasses.

Ima text you tomorrow about the dates. I know mrs jack isn't gonna be interested so Ill find at least one person to ride with me to split fuel and hotel costs.

Judge i've only been the friday-sunday. Just couldn't justify closing a clinic for longer than that. But I feel that the friday and saturday have plenty to do event wise. Plus running around to the distilleries. We just drive over night thursday night and get there early Friday morning. But having that Thursday would be better.
And i'm with you on the motel situation. There are a couple of hotels in bardstown, so you shouldn't have to worry about those unless you wait until late to book. Its literally a town of 15k that has 55k go there for just that festival.

Thats why I love them. A 2 oz pour halfway fills it up.

So the festival is in Bardstown? That's where I want to book a hotel?

Yessur. Thats where the festival is. And just about all of your distilleries (including Louisville which has several and more to open by next year) are within 1 hour of Bardstown

I'd love to go but that is the same time for my annual grand isle trip. I don't think I can miss it...

So it's worth the extra $20 (compared to the SmB)?

You ask me...yes I think so. But the SmB is no slouch either. Unk had em side by side too...he was mad after because he felt compelled to spend the extra 20 on the SB.

There's still a bottle of the SB laying around in a store here. I may have to go snag it tomorrow.

Yup. I keep em both stocked but side x side, it's noticeably better.

I disagree. You get a much better nose with these than a standard rocks glass. I can also carry this around, bring it outside to grill, etc etc.. Not as delicate as the standard Glen.

I dont drink whiskey out of wine glasses

Did you have the smaller Glens or just your rocks glasses?
