Have not had the pleasure of trying Redbreast 21. Is it as good as I think it would be? Love the cask strength 12 year Redbreast. Great whiskey for 65 bucks or so.

Smells and tastes of apricots...almost silky going down with a soft, lingering finish.

Not sure it's worth 250 though

I agree the original location is slightly better. And I don't know how much it has to do with ovens and the usage over the years or not. But if I'm driving all the way up there it's for a Broaddus burger, not the village.

yeah i'm sure why either DB, it all looks the same but something about the crust is just "off" to me
but its still a damn good pie and Broaddus burger

Hard to know whether a whiskey is "worth it" these days. Wife got me a Yamazaki 18 year for Father's Day this year. Incredibly complex the first tasting but maybe not worth the price tag the second tasting. Think it depends upon the situation and the company. Good company always makes good whiskey
