Mine is pretty basic:
2-3oz of a high rye and/or high proof bourbon
2 squirts of 1:1 sugar in the raw simple syrup
2-3 dashes of Peychauds bitters
1-2 Luxardo cherries smashed and a tiny bit of the syrup from the jar
Usually an orange or satsuma garnish but this time went with some candied orange peels I got at the Mandeville farmers market
Mix and add 2 inch cube
