Just picked up this bottle from Martin’s in Metairie. For those that shop there, this bottle was Jeff’s barrel pick. It’s really good. Ton of flavor right off the jump. Chocolate sugar wood if there ever was such a thing.

Yes. I got to taste that and this bottle. Both were damn good. The Dickel had a very sweet corn flavor. It was really good but I’m at the point where I have so many bottles that if I buy another one I’m looking for unique flavor, barrel proof, barrel pick. The Garrison Bros fit all three and won me over. It was $130 and I wanted to leave with some cash left in my wallet so I didn’t get both. The Dickel I think was around $40.

I’m on LBC as well. Well...I use my wife’s Facebook to follow. Lol. I’m getting ready to create a profile just to be involved with LBC. That raffle they had a few months ago was insane. I just traded some Balcones Bourbon Fest picks I had for Weller 107s. It’s a great group. Kinda like this thread...maybe somebody should create a TDWBS group on Facebook?

Yeah. That’s part of the reason I need to get my own account. I’m missing out on those picks. I look like a bitch posting under my wife’s account. Lol.

Hah. Beer and Bourbon groups are mostly why I use FB.

Not to my knowledge, no. A buddy of mine who is plugged deep into the bourbon game picked this up for me. Poison Girl attached to a barrel pick is a definite purchase.

Ah, now I gotcha. I‘m 98% sure the answer is no. As far as I know, they partner with local liquor stores to distribute their picks. Not sure if you’re familiar but Poison Girl is a highly regarded bourbon bar in the Montrose area.
