Damn things are higher than giraffe pussy right now.
I've never paid 2.50 plus lb for live crawfish this time of year.
Some places are even higher.

I know Easter deal... Still they too high.

I'd venture to say cocaine, would be easier to get right about now...I've called 6 places and all say the same thing...booked, give us your name and number and we will call you, IF we get a extra sack....Will try hole n da wall, thank you for an actual answer....I may have to call the Pierre Part crawfish mafia hot line....I do have a cell number, but its driving down to the spillway and picking up at the landing, WHEN he gets there...I suppose I could make a fishing trip out of it....

Lots of reasons, but #1 is that people will pay for them.

I bet if you figure in gas to get to location, gas in boat, bait and your time. They aren't really all that cheap.

I'm what most people would call "LAZY", so I much prefer to depart with a 100.00 and drink beer and boil, as opposed to baiting traps and spending hours catching them...Worth every penny to me...Maybe in my younger days....Not these days...To each his own though...I don't hate on them, just not for me...I've run plenty of traps in my days out of necessity...not any more though.

Maybe in the city...
They'll be 30-40 bucks a sack in two weeks.
Wait and see, especially when it warms up for good.

It was a rough year man, cut them some slack.

Too much rain
Too little rain
Too hot
Too cold
Perfect temperature for too long
Water too muddy
Water not muddy enough
Fuel prices
TV went out
Etc etc etc

Once they figured out elasticity of demand, the higher prices were here to stay
