Father-in-law is in town and wants to eat seafood. What would y’all recommend?

I'm not familiar with how the seafood is in north Dakota honestly.

Always love the fresh seafood along the Louisiana coast. However, I hear Maryland crab cakes are to die for. One of my buddies says the raw oysters in Oregon are the best he’s had.

I’d try one of those 3 places, or maybe Maine for fresh lobster? Alaska for fresh king crab legs?

I thought the general rule was that you don't eat seafood on a Monday.

Sorry - since this is an LSU board I assumed you’d know BR. My mistake.

We went to The Chimes. He had a dozen 1/2 price raw, a crab cake sandwich, and gator bites and was happy as a clam.

Honestly didn’t feel like driving that far, particularly with rush hour traffic. Chimes was much more convenient.

They are just ok in my book.

Now I know a lot of oyster folks who do love them some Oregon oysters.
