Guess it's hip to not have a pet or a bathroom trash can

I use a shopping cart so my fingers have never had the circulation cut off.
I can load a weeks worth of groceries onto one arm with those plastic bags so I can bypass the cart.

Probably?

I thought bathroom trashcans came standard on every make and model of girlfriend.

I'd ask why it's a big deal to bypass the cart, but I really don't care that much.

I refuse to look at used feminine products laying on top of the trash while I'm brushing my teeth. And we all know that 90% of those small bathroom trashcans don't have lids.

In that case I will tell you!
I like to load and go. Don't want to put it in it's little cart garage.

yeah I don't push my cart to my car either. I'd rather get creases in my arms than have to return the cart to its proper place. I'm used to carrying grocery bags anyways because I don't have a driveway/garage so carrying a bunch of them is inevitable anyways.

I park next to the cart places, so it's no big deal and I don't like creases in my arms.

My arms are so taught I don't get creases.

It's a "man thing".... I do it. We also hate using a cart to shop. I'll walk around with the plastic basket and armfuls of groceries to avoid pushing a "buggy" around.

Handy trick...I use the carabiner on my key ring and run it through all the handles of the plastic bags.

I have soft ladylike skin. I also can't browse while shopping the way poop does.

Followup to the OP's question.
What monetary penalty would it take for you to use reusable bags? In SF it is a $.10 charge, which I don't view as prohibitive, but that I've heard it works.
Would it take $.25 or $.50?

More than 10 bucks a grocery visit.

Well the pet thing: I'm an animal psychotic crazy lady and its a shock that I'm not vegan.
On the trash can: I use q-tips and cotton balls for removing makeup. I also used to need it for feminine products. Hmmm.. Oh, and random times I need a tissue. And tossing empty toilet paper rolls. My next trash can is the kitchen which is through the master, down the hall, and through the living area. I'm not doing that for a q-tip

I only bring my cart back up to the store. I know they pay people to collect them, but I am just too guilty of a person to leave it in the cart spots
