sous vide to temp, and then on top of a well-oiled grate sitting on top of a nearly full weber chimney starter. Keeps from smoking the hell out of the house which is what I do when I use cast-iron.

Salt, pepper, butter, dash of worcestershire sauce, then either cast iron or grill as hot as it can go.
Cooked to medium rare.
My second favorite way is to order one at a nice steakhouse.
