This past week was St Josephs day. Although not Italian we would crank out a large load of Couchie Dacchi(Italian fig cookies) to the builders of altars in a manner of a production line.

Lately I've been leaning towards Spunkenmeier's White Chocolate Cranberry.

I bought a package of tea cake cookies at Rouse's yesterday. I brought them to a party. I didn't try them, but someone told me that they were really good.

How did we get to page 2 and no one said Girl Scout Cookies? Their biggest mistake is selling them only one month a year and mostly during Lent.

But fiance's Italian aunts do a cookie bar every Christmas. Fig cookies, shortbread, etc. Best way to gain your Christmas weight right there.

Girl Scout cookies are overrated, overpriced nonsense.

Overpriced...I agree. Don't think they're overrated, but maybe that's because they only sell them once a year. As soon as Lent is over I plan to try my hand at a samoa recipe I found on Pinterest!

Good. Hopefully they won't be dried out pieces of cardboard like the GS ones.
